Our elevated take on the everyday chancla, in solid Charcoal black. Genuine leather from upper to lining to insole, resting on a cushion of foam and a rubber sole, with a gentle heel platform that slopes forward for natural arch support. Finished with a softly squared toe.

Beach in the morning, dinner in town at night: the Chancla goes wherever the day does.

Our sandals are made in Mexican sizing, and every brand fits a little differently, so we always recommend measuring your foot before choosing.

Genuine leather starts out with a little structure and softens beautifully with wear. Give them a few outings and they'll mold to the shape of your foot, becoming truly yours. If you're between sizes, we suggest sizing up.

Every measurement in our size guide is taken from the sole of the sandal, as shown below.

Length: from the back of the heel to the tip of the toe.

Width: across the widest part of the sole, just below the toes.

To find your fit, place your foot on a sheet of paper, mark the back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe, and measure the distance in centimeters. Compare it with the sandal length in our size guide.

Our sandals are made in Mexican sizing. Find your size below, along with the US and EU equivalents and the exact length and width of each sandal.

All measurements are in centimeters. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up, as genuine leather relaxes slightly with wear.

Every pair is made with genuine leather from trusted tanneries in Guadalajara. Where we can, we use surplus leather left over from our bags for the uppers and linings, so beautiful material never goes to waste.

Between the leather insole and the rubber sole sits a soft layer of foam that gradually shapes itself to your step, so you can walk comfortably for miles.

Wipe smooth leather with a soft, dry cloth and condition it every few months to keep it supple. Refresh suede with a suede brush, and keep it away from heavy rain. For hair on, gently brush in the direction of the hair. If your pair gets wet, let it dry naturally, away from direct heat or sun. Between wears, store them in their dust bag somewhere cool and dry.

About Our Leather

The straps are made from full grain leather, and the sole is made from 3 mm baqueta.

Full grain leather is the top layer of the hide and the highest quality leather available. It keeps the hide's natural surface intact, which gives it strength, a rich appearance, and a super soft, buttery feel against the skin. The leather used for the straps comes from the surplus of our bag production, a way to minimize waste while making sure the same quality leather in our bags is also on your feet.

The sole is crafted from baqueta, a traditional Mexican leather taken from the lower part of the hide. At 3 mm thick, it is dense, strong, and very durable underfoot. With each wear, the leather gradually relaxes and molds to the shape of your foot.

Because leather is a natural material, slight variations in texture, tone, and grain are normal. These differences come from the hide itself and mean that no two pairs are exactly alike.

Genuine full grain leather differs from synthetic or heavily processed alternatives in both feel and longevity. It is softer to the touch, richer in appearance, and with proper care, it ages beautifully over time.
